Information for High Sheriffs

High Sheriffs are responsible for finding, encouraging applications from and endorsing submissions for suitable projects within their counties which may be eligible for an award – there is no limit to the number of projects any one High Sheriff can submit. They are the conduit between the awards ceremony and the projects. Any project not endorsed by the High Sheriff will be referred to them for endorsement or not, as the case may be.

High Sheriffs who have projects in the finals will be invited to the award ceremony and encouraged to invite county supporters such as Members of Parliament, Police and Crime Commissioner, Civic Dignitaries and their county’s High Sheriffs in Nomination.
